Let's face it: The SAT is important. It is required at almost all colleges in the United States, and the best ones require nothing less than top scores. And while that might not be enough to get you into the top schools, it's a pretty good start to your application.
The SAT is divided into three sections: Reading, Writing, and Math, each with a weight of 800 points to make a 2400 point total. But the SAT is really a five part (or more) test, which I break up into: Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Essay, Grammar, and Math.
